This is the path for moving a WordPress site from WPML to the FluentC WordPress plugin. The plugin does not duplicate objects per language, and you can keep WPML installed while you test. For a side-by-side table, see FluentC vs WPML.
Step 1: test one page
Install the plugin (download). In your WordPress dashboard, go to FluentC > FluentC in the sidebar. Enter any page URL on your site, choose a source and target language, and start the translation.
You get a live translation on your real site without signing up or paying. It is a quick way to check the plugin against your theme and other plugins.
Step 2: set up full-site translation
When you are ready to go beyond one page:
- Pick your platform. Select "WordPress Site". You get automatic content detection, SEO integration and a native plugin experience.
- Enter your site details. Confirm your site URL and set your source language. If the FluentC plugin is active, FluentC detects it automatically.
- Choose your languages. Pick one or more target languages. Package discounts apply as you add more, and there are no per-word fees. See pricing.
- Select the language switcher. Choose how visitors switch languages. The floating widget is recommended for most sites, and you can change it later.
- Subscribe and copy your API key. Review your languages and pricing summary, activate the subscription and copy the key you receive.
Step 3: paste the key and find your pages
In WordPress:
- Go to FluentC > Settings.
- Paste your API key.
- Click Find Pages so FluentC scans your site.
Translations begin once the scan finishes.

Note: If your site is not on WordPress, FluentC Domains translates it on a subdomain or country domain without touching the origin site.
