FluentC Domains

Translate your whole site onto its own domain.

FluentC Domains serves each language from a subdomain or a country domain, translated, cached and indexable. It works with any website or content on the internet, and it doesn't need a plugin.

What it is

One site. Every language, on its own address.

Your site stays where it is, in the language it's written in. FluentC reads your public pages, translates them, saves the translation, and serves each language from the address you chose: es.yoursite.com, yoursite.de.

The first time a page is translated it takes a few seconds. After that the saved translation is served straight away.

Search

Built to be found.

A real URL per language

Every language is served from its own subdomain or country domain, so each page can be linked to, shared and indexed.

hreflang, set for you

FluentC adds the hreflang tags that tell search engines which page is the Spanish one and which is the German one.

Keywords in the language

Translated pages carry multi-language keywords, so you can be found in the language people actually search in.

Questions

Things people ask.

Something else? Ask us →
Do I have to change my site?

Only to add one small snippet that shows the language switcher. The rest, the languages, the addresses and the translations, is set up in the dashboard. Your pages stay written in their original language.

Which sites does it work with?

Any website or content on the internet, built on a CMS, a headless stack or custom code. Domains doesn't need a plugin. If you're on WordPress and would rather use one, there is one.

Subdomain or country domain?

A subdomain is the simpler setup, though it still needs subdomain configuration and DNS work, and may need separate SSL certificates. A country domain gives the strongest local signal and suits larger sites, but it means registering the domain and setting up DNS for it, and it is the most expensive option. Both are laid out in the trade-off above.

Can you set it up for me?

Yes. You can set FluentC up yourself or have our team do it. Tell us about your site and we'll take it from there.

Can I edit the translations?

Yes. You can change any translation by hand in the dashboard.

How is it priced?

A flat price per site, per language, with unlimited translations. See pricing.
